VEGETABLES VARIOUS (FRESH or FROZEN)

Ingredients:

The Vegetables of your choice: There is a huge choice in the Food Stores, Broccoli, Cauliflower, French Beans, Carrots, Brussel Sprouts, Pees etc.

TOOLS:

1 Calendar for rinsing Vegetables (under cold water)

Salt, (add to taste)

Black Pepper, (add to taste after serving)

STEP 1

Wash and Prepare your Vegetables, cut “Florets” for your Broccoli and Cauliflower. Cut Brussels in Half and cut the heart stalk down the middle, as this takes longer to cook. Trim and cut the Beans to fit your cup (3in in length) you will get more in the cup. Peas, add the amount required to the cup.

STEP 2

Heat your Steam Plus Pan® over a medium heat, straight from the Calendar add your Vegetables to each of the cups. Add 3oz of water to the center Reservoir, Cover with the lid and steam for 4 / 5 minutes, or cooked to your liking.

STEP 3:

This is an Added Choice: Some people like to add “Cheese”, this is very easy. To do, Just add the amount of “Shredded / Grated Cheese” you would like over your Vegetables, this should be added around 1 or 2 minutes before your Vegetables are cooked. This will stop your Veg from being over cooked.

Serve Hot, add Black Pepper to taste.

 

 

NOTE: Fresh or Frozen packs of ALL Mixed Vegetables work perfectly.
