After working as a stuntman, stunt coordinator, and second unit director for more than 55 years in the film and television industry, Eddie Stacey became a restauranteur. Due to his love of cooking, he went into the restaurant business, getting involved in two restaurants over a couple of decades, one in 1982 the second in the mid 1990’s.

Food and wine were one of his many passions, other than stuntman work.

His mother was the one who taught him to cook due to her rigorous 24/7 schedule and Eddie was left to take care of his sister and himself. Both his sister and him learned to clean, cook, and help with the housework. Eddie loved every minute of it because it was a part of growing up.

It also taught him to be independent. He also got his first job at age fifteen. He practically could do everything at home, such as sewing and ironing. It was a wonderful life for him and he forever thank his "special mom" for what she had taught him throughout his childhood.

Eddie Stacey worked over 250 films and television shows, mainly with leading celebrities in the industry (check out his credit at www.IMDB.com). Although the film industry was amazing and a huge part of his life, he decided to finally slow down and pursue his dreams. He wanted to enjoy his life and do things he love before he gets too old.

Since he love sporting life, in early 2009, he finally took a long break from his hectic life and decided to sail to various parts of the world.

His first trip, of his sailing adventure, was in Venezuela. He and his two other friends wanted to sail a 47ft yacht docked at Venezuela and sailed it to United Kingdom. Unfortunately, when they arrived in Venezuela, the yacht was already sold (in full price which is unheard of in the yachting world). Without a yacht, they needed to think of another alternative, so they starting thinking.

After many days of e-mails and phone calls, there was finally a light at the end of the tunnel. Gordon Dove, was a crew member that Eddie met while working together and he was able to arranged a 36-foot yacht (Sloop) in the British Virgin Islands. The yacht was also able to do a return trip of the “European Arc”.  Although perfect, the start date was six weeks away, so Eddie went to Antigua to visit his two closest friend, Colleen Brown and her partner Gilly, before the great adventure.

The yacht was a Hallberg Rassey, 36ft. It was rather small, but the brand was one of the best yachts for long distance cruising. To get the yacht, Eddie met up with David Clarkson (captain and owner of the yacht), which David was in Antigua with his wife for vacation. The timing couldn't be more perfect.

The trip was set up like this: starting in the British Virgin Islands to Bermuda, Azores, Portugal, Cork in Ireland, and finally to the United Kingdom, where the trip will end.

It was an exciting trip for Eddie and his friends. It was 4,500 nautical miles crossing the Atlantic twice! Basically if you can sail on a 36ft Sloop, you can sail any size yacht after that.

After his sail to the United Kingdom and resting for a period of time, Eddie decided to plan his next big sail trip to Australia and New Zealand. So he contacted the owner of a 50ft sloop in Fiji. He flew to Fiji to join with the captain of the 50ft sloop and he sailed the Southern Ocean.

November 2009, Eddie took a trip to California to have some meetings about a couple of film that were in development.

A huge reason why he stayed in Newport Beach instead of Toluca Lake in the Valley, because he lost a very dear friend, Michael Wayne (John Wayne’s eldest son) in April 02, 2003. They had been close friends for almost 30 years. With the death of Michael Wayne, this had impacted Eddie greatly. Since he was so close with the Wayne family, staying at Newport Beach, close to Michael's brother Ethan and his sisters, was a very important thing to him.

While visiting his friends in Newport Beach, his life changed yet again. Eddie was introduced to a wonderful lady Janet Curci. He instantly fell in love with her and they married March 09, 2012. Janet being an Italian Californian, has spent most of her life in Newport Beach, so the place became their home. With his new-found love and the start of a different direction in life, Eddie went back to the film industry once again. If anything, Eddie has never been the one to sit around and wait for things to happen.

Due to his endless passion for new ideas and designs, the Eddie Stacey Pan LLC was born. With his love of cooking and love of adventures, he wanted to invent something that can help the lives of others. It took him more than two years to develop and launch his brand. It was difficult because many advised him to manufacture the pan in America, since the saying "fly the flag and you will do great!"

After a second attempt, Eddie found an American cookware company called Nordic Ware. They were able to manufacture his pan idea. Nordic Ware had an amazing and enthusiastic support team, along with outstanding professional guidance in the final adjustments of the Eggs Plus Pan. The Eggs Plus Pan was an amazing product that will revolutionize the kitchen and way of cooking.

However, after the initial launch of Eggs Plus Pan, Eddie had to switched the manufacturing to Far East (Korea/China) because the pan was too expensive for the American market. Thus, the Steam Plus Pans was created. More affordable, but with the same functionality and quality as the Eggs Plus Pan. The Steam Plus Pans was created with a rich story in mind. It has gone through years of reinvention and testing. Cook with the Steam Plus Pans and you will see that no other pan can compare in this world!

Love Eddie.
